On March 24, 2008, the mother of a 14 year old girl contacted a parole agent, and accused the defendant of “the kidnapping, rape, and pimping of her daughter.” The girl was abducted at gunpoint at a bus stop on March 3. She was then forced with physical threats to prostitute herself over the span of two weeks. She was detained by police on March 17th under suspicion of prostitution. Sullivan was arrested on March 25th at the Bay Breeze Inn in Oakland. A parole search of the defendant’s vehicle provided a digital camera, laptop, a book about pimping, and a cell phone. It was later discovered that the items seized had child pornography on them, which included images and video of the victim. The victim, under the pressure of her mother provided information to the OPD and picked Sullivan out of a lineup.
