First victim escaped and fled to Oakland police. It is presumed this led to the discovery of second victim. Legal prosecution of perpetrator. Due to the victims' minority and the way the bondage was discovered, it is presumed the victims received social services. However, this was not reported in any source. In or about April 2010, Turner was convicted by a jury of seven felony counts including rape, forcible oral copulation, kidnapping, pandering, and human trafficking. Last available report states Turner faced a sentence of 15 years to life. One report indicated Turner planned to appeal. Turner kidnapped Victim 1, a 16 year old girl, and transported her to Stockton. Turner told Victim 1 she had to pay him $2500. She was unable to pay; eventually Turner demanded $1,000 plus sex. Victim 1 convinced Turner to take her back to Oakland, where she escaped and fled to the Oakland police. Turner then kidnapped Victim 2, a 15 year old girl. Turner took Victim 2 to the same location in Stockton and told her she owed him $1,000. He forced her to work as a prostitute and kept her for at least a week.
