Four Greek police officers as well as 25 other people were arrested under the suspicion of trafficking approximately 300 women from all over Eastern Europe to Athens. The women were placed in nightclubs and strip clubs, private homes and unlicensed brothels. The police officers allegedly helped supply these women with false identification documents and tipped off nightclub owners about planned police vice raids.
