A Lake in the Hills man is facing charges of bringing a 14-year-old girl to the northern suburb from Kansas and using her as a prostitute. Donald R. Jones, 52, was arrested last week on a warrant from Sedgwick County, Kan., alleging aggravated trafficking, a police report said.

He was being held in the McHenry County Jail on $500,000 bail. If convicted, Jones could face up to 30 years in prison.
The warrant alleges that Jones intentionally recruited, harbored, transported and/or provided a 14-year-old and had the teen -- with or without force, threat or coercion -- engage in forced labor, involuntary servitude or sexual gratification of himself or another person.
