Darren Hilton, 28, was sentenced February 27th of 2008 to 77 years and four months to life for sexually assaulting four teenagers he had targeted to work for him on the streets. Hilton was convicted in Chula Vista Superior Court in January of forcible rape, forcible oral copulation, committing lewd acts on a child aged 14 or 15, pandering and kidnapping. A 20-year-old woman who prosecutors said was Hilton's accomplice, Ch'keil Nailon, pleaded guilty last year to pimping and pandering charges and faces three to 12 years in prison

When police searched the suburban Chula Vista home Hilton shared with his mother and stepmother in February 2006, they found training books and videotapes on how to become a pimp.
Two of them managed to escape when Hilton took them to National City to work as prostitutes.
The parents of one girl said in a letter to the court that their daughter “became a prisoner in her own home” for two years after the ordeal with Hilton. “She would not leave the house for fear of of being taken or even killed,” they wrote.
