Jose Tecum trafficked Maria Choz from her home in Guatemala through Mexico and Arizona to his home in Southern Florida. The victim was forced to work on Tecum’s tomato-picking crew during the day, and required to give Tecum her earnings. At night, she was sexually assaulted by Tecum, who destroyed her identification cards.
