Uganda Youth Development Link (UYDEL) provides counseling and trauma therapy for victims and gets them tested for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections. Those is need of health care are taken to treatment centers and are rehabilitated to good health. UYDEL also provides training in life-skills and vocational skills like hairdressing, tailoring, electronics, catering, welding, carpentry and plumbing. A team of trained local artisans mentors the youths into skills that will enable them to find employment and start their own businesses. Uganda Youth Development Link (UYDEL) - UG-UYD-20090722-00012 A 15 year old boy was told by his uncle that he was going to provide education opportunities and a job as a mechanic in Uganda but did not follow through with that promise once he was brought to Uganda. Thus, the boy found his way to Uganda Youth Development Link (UYDEL).
