An eight year old girl from El Salvador was sold into slavery by her parents. The men who purchased her brought her to Guatemala where she was forced to work in a brothel.

Response & intervention
After several weeks, the police were called and raided the brothel.
The young girl was placed in the custody of La Asociación Nuestros Ahijados, where she received medical care and extensive psychological treatment. She was later placed in a foster family and graduated from high school.
