Honolulu police, the U.S. Immigrations and Custom Enforcement and the state Department of Public Safety conducted a human trafficking investigation at massage parlors in Honolulu from Feb. 18 to March 3, police said. They arrested a 27 year old man who came after a 24-year-old woman. She came forward and said she was coerced into working as a prostitute for the man who used a firearm to threaten her.

The victim was originally from the Mainland and was taken to a temporary shelter following the arrest. She is now back at home.
