"JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA (BNO NEWS) – Six arrests were made due to crimes discovered during a joint investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office targeting child prostitution, the Department of Justice announced on Monday. Ian Sean Gordon, 29, of Tallahassee, was charged with sex trafficking of a minor. Gordon is accused of enticing the minor and of forcing her to engage in commercial sex acts. If convicted, Gordon faces a sentence ranging from 15 years in prison to life behind bars. Melvin Eugene Friedman, 45, of Jacksonville, was indicted for sex trafficking of a minor, conspiracy to distribute more than five grams of cocaine base, aiding and abetting in the possession of cocaine base, using a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. Friedman allegedly enticed a minor while knowing that she would be forced to engage in prostitution. The defendant is also a cocaine dealer and uses his own residence for distributing narcotics. Friedman was previously convicted of manslaughter, sale or delivery of cocaine, and possession of burglary tools. He faces a minimum sentence of20 years and a maximum penalty of two consecutive life sentences plus 70 years. Phillip Anthony Aiken, 28, Oris Alexander English, 45, and Alfredo Martinez Riquene, 42, all from Jacksonville, were charged with sex trafficking of a minor. They allegedly obtained a minor, knowing that the child would be used in prostitution acts. If convicted, each defendant faces a mandatory sentence of 10 years and a maximum term of life imprisonment. Antonio D. Ford, 28, of Jacksonville, was charged with misprision of a felony.
