Dwayne Charles Love, 24, from Suisan, California. The woman told police that Love had created listings on sexually-oriented websites, and had provided her with a work cell phone that was linked to the listings online, according to the arrest affidavit. She said that she had been at the hotel for three days and during that time, she had sex with four men, Witherspoon had sex with five or six men, and the other woman with three men. She said that she and the other woman would collect the money and give it to Witherspoon, who would give it to Love. Arrest made by Killeen police. Dewayne Charles Love was convicted Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Waco of transporting a person in interstate commerce for the purpose of engaging in criminal activity in a case involving forced prostitution. It took the jury only a little more than two-and-a-half hours to find Love guilty of bringing Ashley Caufield to Killeen from California and forcing her to work as a prostitute. A federal investigation is ongoing.
The 19-year-old woman sent text messages to her family in California stating that she was forced into prostitution and locked in a Killeen hotel room. On Jan. 3, officers located the woman at a room registered in her name at the Sleep Inn & Suites, along with Alexis Shabre Witherspoon, 20, of Sacramento, Calif., Dwayne Charles Love, 24, of Suisun, Calif., and another woman.
