Omar Luna-Valencia, 32-year-old, was stopped on I-65 in an SUV with 11 passengers, four were children. Luna-Valencia admitted he was attempting to smuggle illegal aliens from Phoenix to Chicago.

Luna-Valencia is charged with Human Trafficking. He is still being held in the Tippecanoe County jail on $250,000 bond.
The SUV was stopped and Luna-Valencia was arrested.
The adults were taken to an overnight shelter. Indiana State Police said immigration officials interviewed the adults, then released them with dates for deportation hearings. The children have been released to family.
