Antonia Pearson-Gaballonie, age 36, of New Lane, Acomb, York. She was married to the victim's brother but he was posted to Wiltshire and she refused to move with him. She then hired the victim as a nanny for her children and forced her to clean the house naked, beg for her food as well as beaten. Pearson-Gaballonie later married Neil Pearson, age 35, who was also convicted of aiding and abetting his wife in committing assault. The victim escaped in December 2004 after being beaten and went to the house of someone she had met (when she dropped off the children at school). The friend alerted the police.
