Yelena Aleksandrovna Telichenko met the victim, a Russian woman, in Philadelphia, where Telichenko convinced the victim to move to Orlando, FL. After arriving, the victim was forced to serve as a mistress to several men. If she objected, Telichenko would beat her. The victim was also forced to work cooking and cleaning the apartment. Telichenko is also known as Ella Schenkerberg, a court interpreter from Ukraine.

Telichenko reached a plea agreement with the U.S. Attorney’s Office. She admitted to forcing the victim into prostitution and beating her repeatedly. After serving her prison sentence she will be deported.
