A 36 year old female resident of a suburb of Kigali was arrested while trying to smuggle five children into Uganda without travel documents. She was trying to take them into Uganda through the DR Congo. She was a member of the same church as the children, and met them there. The trafficker will be prosecuted in court.

Police officers had been dispensed to all ports of entry to counteract child trafficking for purposes of human sacrifice.
