The four Hornbuckles, their mother Tammy Brown, and Jacequelin Wade are named in a 13-count federal indictment for various charges including conspiring to commit sex trafficking of minors by force or coercion, tampering with witnesses, and making false statements. All six women were arrested Friday, July 29th, 2011. Between the summer of 2008 and May of this year, all six women conspired to force minors to engage in commercial sex acts. All the defendants took part in directing the activities of prostitutes, providing transportation to minors for the purpose of sex trafficking, buying hotel rooms and allowing them to be used for prostitution and buying clothes for the victims to wear while they were working. The indictment also alleges all six women used the threat of force, fraud and coercion to control the girls who worked for them.
