The Police received a tip in 2004 for a brothel. In response they sent a undercover officer who found a prostitute however she was willing, but later this incident revealed a sex-trafficking ring. One night 2 prostitutes were seen running from a trailer associated with this brothel. The police then arrested the man who had been keeping them in there and through thi they found out about the ringleader. After this, they had a undercover agent arrange to rescue one of the girls. Through questioning the rescued victim, they found out the ringleaders general route and pulled resources together and arrested him.

Response & intervention
The police arrested a driver who worked for the ringleader. Through questioning the ringleader was arrested and sentenced 20 years in federal prison. The victim is now a resident in the United States of America. World Relief and other partners also helped her get in touch with her family, receive medical treatment, education and transportation to church.
The slave is now freed and living in the states. She was given education, medial care, and transportation to church. On top of this they were able to connect her with her family from back home.
