He was sentenced to 20 years in prison and must register as a sex offender. Johnathan Terry, of Miami, apparently met the 14-year-old in 2008 and began having sex with her, according to the Fulton County District Attorney's Office. Terry later manipulated the girl into various acts of prostitution in Fulton and DeKalb counties, according to the prosecution. In January 2009, the victim and another 14-year-old girl ran away from school and met Terry, who then pimped them out to several men and kept the money. The girls told police about the incident in May 2009, the DA's office said. Terry was arrested on May 26, 2009, after he tried to meet a police decoy, whom Terry believed to be a 16-year-old girl. Shortly after a jury was seated Tuesday, Johnathan Terry pleaded guilty to various sex crimes, including child molestation, statutory rape, pimping, pandering, enticing a child for indecent purposes and felony reckless conduct. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Henry Newkirk sentenced Terry to 20 years in prison, according to the DA's office.
