Annette Marie Simon 50, Heather Michelle Heald 34, forced two women from Texas to sell their bodies at settle Inn hotel at the I-435 corridor. The victims had gone into a trucking company applying for work, they found out it was a prostitution ring, and told that their families would get hurt if they did NOT "get involved".

Response & intervention
Overland Park police worked with Dallas authorities to determine if there was a trucking scheme to force women into prostitution. Two traffickers have been arrested. Unknown status on the unnamed trucking company. Status of charges/trial unknown.
The manager of Settle Inn stated that they would see these two victims get out of their car, go to the construction site next door and talk to men. Suspecting prostitution, the manager called police. The next day, a man who met the victims online decided to bring them to the police department for help.
