Local police were first alerted when the second girl escaped, and then the FBI took over the investigation. Brown and Beacham were arrested and tried. Brown was sentenced on Nov. 29, 2010 to 30 years in prison, followed by a 10-year term of supervised release, as a result of his conviction at trial for charges of sex trafficking of children. Brown was also ordered to pay $5,200 in restitution. Beacham pled guilty to felony charges in April and details of her sentencing have not yet been resolved.

the second girl ran away and got help which alerted authorities to Brown's operation, and he was then arrested shortly after, along with his accomplice, Beacham, who also worked as a prostitute for Brown.
