April 2007- Compensated:-the first & only compensation awarded to a victim of sex trafficking in Australlia. The reason given for the compensation: the victim 'suffered from chronic post- traumatic stress disorder & moderate to severe depressive disorder'as a result of the abuse.
Compensated by the NSW victims compensation tribunal for an undisclosed sum.
