The business was estimated to be making 3 million Australian dollars a year (about $2.8 million US dollars). Police raided a Sydney brothel and rescued 10 South Korean women. The victims were recruited in South Korea with offers of jobs and organized work visas. Once they arrived in Australia the traffickers took their passports and made the victims work in a brothel for up to 20 hours a day.
