Traffickers were married (one male and one female), who both were affluent medical doctors in Milwaukee, WI with a multimillion dollar home in Brookfield, WI. They recruited the victim from the Philippines to the U.S. when the victim was 19 years old. Both perpetrators used threats of serious harm and physical restraint against her to obtain her services.

Response & intervention
Initially sentenced to four prison terms each. Ordered to pay restitution to the victim. Both perpetrators will be deported after serving their sentences. Later in 2009, both perpetrators were resentenced to six years in prison each.
Rescued after 19 years of bondage.
