Ms Fabian, who is Mr Kovacs daughter from a previous marriage, was visiting her parents for Christmas while her father was abroad. During that time she drove the survivor, G, to the shop where she was forced to work, several times. On one of these trips G told Ms Fabian that she had been raped repeatedly by her father and asked for help to escape (see www.law.uq.edu.au/humantrafficking)
