A two-day trial has resulted in the conviction of a child sex trafficker. A U.S. District Judge convicted the male with sex trafficking of a child under the age of 18. He was arrested March 30th by Lubbock Police for related charges. Evidence presented at the trafficker's trial showed that he knowingly recruited, enticed, harbored, transported, provided, obtained and maintained a minor female with knowledge that she was under the age of 18. Witnesses also testified that the trafficker would use the proceeds of the child prostitution to provide them with food, shelter, transportation and marijuana. The victims were 16 yrs old, and 18 yrs old. His sentencing date has not been set yet, the 25 year old could face life in prison and $250,000 fine.
