According to the Zambian laws, “human trafficking is an act of recruitment, transporting, harbouring or receipt of persons for the purposes of slavery, forced labour (including bonded labour or debt bondage) and servitude”.

ZAMBIA has denied former Namibian Chief Regional Officer arrested on allegations of human trafficking bail because he is a foreigner.
The children - Memory Kailu, 9, Mushe Likando,10, Ndala Sinabu, 15 and Nakushowa Ngodo, 20 - were from Singu village where Likando comes from.
