Response & intervention
Trafficker was arrested and later charged with trafficking a person for exploitation. She was jailed for nine months, suspended for two years and was required to give compensation of £25,000 to the Victim and £15,000 in additional costs.
After the interpreter contacted the charity, they contacted the police and there was an intervention. The victim was taken out of her living conditions.
The victim was taken to a refuge.
