Phillip Garrido and his wife Nancy Garrido. Garrido kidnapped Jaycee an 11 year old girl after she got off a school bus in Lake tahoe CA. Her step father heard her scream and saw a car drive off. Her father tried in vane to follow her capture. Jaycee was kept in a small area for 18 years. She was raped by Garrido and had 2 children by him, her 1st at 14 yrs old. Neither child nor Jaycee went to school or the doctor.

Both Garrido and his wife were arrested. An investion by the FBI is underway. Details are still unclear. This story was posted 8/28/09 on Yahoo News.
suspicions were aroused when Garrido, who served time for rape and sexual abuse, was on parole and was seen with 2 children, a young woman(Jaycee and her children) and Garrido's wife. It is unclear about the rest of the details, but Jaycee walked into the local police station and told them her story.
Jaycee was reunited with her mother, step father and step sister. It is unclear what other after care she is receiving.
