Greer police dpt. was tipped off in May 2006 when given a business card that advertised prostitution in Greenville and showed a map of 58 Dorsey Avenue (a location close to 52 Dorsey, where the girls were kept). In September 2007, arrests were made on the ring which was said to have trafficked more than 100 girls in that year alone.
The girls who were in 52 Dorsey when it was raided were apparently only kept in the US to be material witnesses in the prosecution of the 7 who were arrested. For the most part, it appears that they were deported shortly thereafter.
Anonymous source gave Sheriff's dept. a business card detailing the location. This business card had been handed out at upstate flea markets and other large venues.
